Construction of visitors gateway, St Austell
This was a feasibility scheme for a new visitor centre at Pinetum Park and Pinelodge Gardens to include a Café, Restaurant, Farm shop, Education/conference rooms, and exhibition space. This will be a building of outstanding quality, strengthening Cornwall’s ambition to be the ‘green capital’ of the country. The design will showcase the use of local material innovation to demonstrate how high quality architecture can not only be efficient in it’s material use and energy performance, but can also be regenerative in nature to the benefit of the local environment.
